TMKOC’s Jennifer Mistry threatens to sit in protest against Asit Modi: ‘I have given ultimatum…’
Earlier this week, Jennifer Mistry confirmed that she won the sexual harassment case against TMKOC producer Asit Kumar Modi.
Days after Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah fame Jennifer Mistry won the sexual harassment case against Asit Kumar Modi, the actress visited Mumbai’s Powai police station on Saturday. Jennifer released a video statement and shared that she had insisted on changing the FIR filed against Asit Modi last year.
Jennifer claimed that TMKOC makers are now alleging that they have not won any case against Modi.They claim that I attended the women’s group for an unknown purpose and heard something similar. Thus, I must ask: Why did your producer—such a significant, major producer—leave everything to attend this pointless women’s group twice? Fantastic,” she exclaimed.
The actress further said that she has given an ‘ultimatum’ to the police officials to file a charge sheet against Modi and said that she may go on strike if action is not taken against the TMKOC producer. “I gave them an ultimatum that if you don’t do the chargesheet work quickly, I don’t even know what I will do. It is possible that when Draupadi Murmu ji is coming here, I may sit in protest,” she further said.
