Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan suffered multiple injuries after he was attacked with a knife by an intruder during an alleged burglary attempt at his home in Mumbai on Thursday (January 16, 2025) morning.
The intruder fled the spot after the incident took place around 2.30 am at his 12th floor home in Satguru Sharan Building in Bandra area.
Dr Uttamani, COO of Lilavati Hospital said, “Saif suffered 6 injuries, of which 2 are minor, 2 medium and 2 deep. One injury is on the back which is close to the spine. A neurosurgeon is involved in the surgery.” According to Saif’s team, the actor is “out of danger” following his medical procedure.
“He is currently recuperating, and doctors are keeping an eye on his progress,” the statement read. All family members are safe and the police are investigating the incident.” DCP Dixit Gedam confirmed that the intruder had entered the house with the intention of theft.
