Today, PM Modi will inaugurate 9 new Vande Bharat Express trains in 11 states.
9 new Vande Bharat trains: The nine trains will provide faster connectivity in 11 states – Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Bihar, West Bengal, Kerala, Odisha, Jharkhand and Gujarat.
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will tomorrow flag off nine Vande Bharat trains connecting religious and tourist destinations in 11 states.
The nine trains will provide faster connectivity in 11 states – Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Bihar, West Bengal, Kerala, Odisha, Jharkhand and Gujarat.


Through video conference, the prime minister will signal the departure of the trains.
These trains, according to an official release, represent a significant step in achieving the Prime Minister’s goal of enhancing national connection and offering top-notch amenities to rail travelers.
“Vande Bharat trains will be the fastest trains on its operational routes and will help passengers save a lot of time,” .
The existing quickest trains on the line, Rourkela-Bhubaneswar-Puri and Kasaragod-Thiruvananthapuram, would be replaced with Vande Bharat trains, which will reduce travel times by more than two hours between Tirunelveli-Madurai-Chennai and Hyderabad-Bengaluru.
When compared to the quickest trains currently running between Ranchi-Howrah, Patna-Howrah, and Jamnagar-Ahmedabad, the travel time will be cut by around one hour.
The distance between Udaipur and Jaipur will be covered in around 30 minutes less time.
