Maha Kumbh Mela to begin in India, largest gathering of humanity
PRAYAGRAJ, India, Jan 12( Reuters)- India begins the six- week Maha Kumbh Mela, or Great Ewer Festival, on Monday, a Hindu holy event that will be the world’s largest gathering of humanity as it blends religion, church, tourism and crowd operation.
