Viral IIT Baba Amid raining of rose petals on addicts and the first’ amrit snaan’ by well- known spiritual leaders during Maha Kumbh 2025, a’ baba’ named Abhay Singh has gone viral.
Abhay Singh, popularly known as’ IIT Baba’, came into the spotlight after he revealed that he completed his scale from IIT Bombay and decided to come a saint. Six months after Abhay Singh disassociated all ties with his family, IIT Baba’s father Karan Grewal wants his son to return home .
As Karan Grewal told his mama asked him to return and take care of the family, but he replied that it is n’t possible now after getting a sanyasi.”
IIT baba’ doubtful’ to hear to his parents
Karan Grewal further told NDTV that though he wants his son to return home, he can not force him, as Abhay Singh( IIT baba) has” always been independent” and everyone has a right to live their own life.
” I’ll try, but in my heart, I feel that after reaching this stage, he’ll not hear to us,” IIT baba’s father told NDTV. Why IIT baba does not want to return home IIT baba Abhay Singh revealed that he’d to choose the path of church due to” domestic violence” in his nonage. Though he did n’t face it directly, Abhay Singh told NDTV that he was deeply” traumatised” by his parents’ constant arguments. To deal with the fermentation at home, Abhay would frequently study till late at night. When asked about his decision of not getting wedded, the IIT baba admitted that the conflict he witnessed between his parents told his decision to lead a peaceful, solitary life
