“Helped me…”: Man shares experience applying for Zomato’s chief of staff position Though he didn’t get the job, he said he got valuable interview experience, even though he applied on a whim.

Deepinder Goyal shared updates about his company’s chief of staff interviews. One man responded, saying he did apply and sharing his interview experience.

Though he didn’t get the job, he said he got valuable interview experience, even though he applied on a whim. He said the feedback he received was extremely helpful.

Sanjay Krishna, product manager at Entri app, wrote on X, “I sent the email just out of curiosity and had one of the best interview experiences. Didn’t make it to the final selection, but the conversations and feedback have helped me a lot over the last few months. Grateful for the opportunity.”

In a tweet, Mr Goyal shared that the company received over 18,000 applications and contacted over 150 exceptionally talented individuals. Out of this pool, 30 candidates have already received offers, 18 of whom have joined high-impact roles at its group companies like Zomato and Blinkit.

Deepinder Goyal further explained on X that these hires include “founders who bootstrapped startups from their hostel rooms, engineers who rebuilt the entire tech stack in a weekend, operators who turned chaos into scale, and a handful of brilliant young minds fresh out of college.” The company’s leadership believes that these individuals will help shape its future.
