Gaganyaan’s test flight successful, crew escape module landed
The test vehicle charge is the precursor to the Gaganyaan program which aims to shoot humans into space in a 400- km downward Earth route.
New Delhi ISRO’s unmanned test flight for its first manned spaceflight charge’ Gaganyaan’ moment lifted off from Sriharikota, marking the first corner in India’s ambitious space charge.
Saturday’s rocket tested its crew module’s exigency deliverance system, which separated from the thruster and made a soft wharf in the ocean about 10 twinkles after launch. This charge was conducted to test the effectiveness of the vehicle’s crew escape system, which would be used in case the astronauts demanded to void in an exigency.
The test vehicle D1 charge was listed to launch from the first launch pad at 8 am but was revised to8.45 am. But the preamble stopped just 5 seconds before the launch. ISRO linked the cause and successfully completed the test at 10 am.
