Recently, a video of Dolly Chaiwala giving Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates tea has gone viral. In an interview, the tea vendor has now admitted that he was unaware that he was serving the business tycoon
ANI shared a video on Twitter, in which Dolly Chaiwala described how she felt when she learned that she had served tea to Bill Gates. He also shared that one day he wants to serve tea to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
I had no idea at all. I thought he was a boy from abroad so I should serve him tea,” he says in the video. He claims that after arriving back in Nagpur the following day, he learned who Bill Gates was.
“He (Bill Gates) said ‘Wow, Dolly’s tea.’ We didn’t talk at all, he was standing near me and I was busy with my work. I watch South films and have learned my style from them… Today I feel like ‘Dolly Chai of Nagpur’ I have become one.’ In future, I want to serve tea to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
“Dolly Chaiwala is an internet sensation today, especially after Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates shared a video of himself enjoying tea made by Nagpur’s ‘Dolly Chaiwala’,” ANI said in another tweet.
