BTS’ Jungkook is credited as both songwriter and producer on his new single ‘Never Let Go’
K-pop sensation Jungkook is making a comeback! After a gap of several months following his chart-topping debut album ‘Golden’, Jeon Jungkook has dropped his latest single, ‘Never Let Go’, on June 7.
‘Never Let Go’ is written, arranged, and produced by Jungkook, marking his second song dedicated to ARMY after the self-produced track ‘My You’ in 2022.
BTS’ Jungkook has captured the hearts of fans around the world once again with the release of ‘Never Let Go’, which marks his solo contribution to the group’s annual celebration,FESTA 2024, in observance of their approaching eleventh anniversary of debut. Created for BTS’s devoted fan base, referred to as ARMYs, the energetic song quickly gained popularity.
Taking the music world by storm with an impressive debut, Jungkook’s ‘Never Let Go’ reached the 14th spot on the Spotify Global Chart within just hours of its release on June 8. The song’s spectacular success was further bolstered by its first-day performance on the music platform, garnering over 5,511,530 streams, thus securing its position as the biggest K-pop debut of 2024 on Spotify. In achieving this feat, Jungkook surpassed the debut performances of his fellow BTS members’ solo releases in 2024. V’s ‘FRI(END)S’ stood at number two by garnering 4,728,233 streams, while RM’s ‘Come Back to Me’ In particular, BTS’ lead rapper, J-Hope maintained a strong presence on the list, while ‘Neuron’ secured the 5th spot with 2,559,464 debut streams on Spotify.
