Asian Games 2023 Day 11 Live Updates: India won the gold medal in the compound archery mixed team final on Day 11 of the ongoing Asian Games 2023 in Hangzhou on Wednesday. Jyoti Surekha Vennam and Pravis Ojas Deotale were in great form and led India to their best medal tally in the Asiad. His current tally is 81, which is better than his previous best at Jakarta 2018 (70). India also won a bronze medal in the 35 km race walk mixed team final. While Lovlina Borgohain won a silver medal after losing 0-5 in the women’s 75kg boxing final. After losing in the 57 kg women’s boxing semi-finals, Parveen had to be content with a bronze medal. Sunil Kumar won bronze medal in men’s Greco-Roman 87 kg wrestling. He defeated Atabek Azisbekov of Kyrgyzstan

Harmilan Bains finished second in the women’s 800 m final in a time of 2:03.75, winning her second silver medal in the event. She had won a silver medal in the women’s 1500 meters earlier this week. Avinash Sable also added another silver to India’s kitty by finishing second in the men’s 5000m final. The Indian women’s 4×400 meter relay team won the silver medal after losing the gold to Bahrain in a tough match. Meanwhile, the men’s team won the gold medal in the 4x400m relay. In the men’s javelin throw final, Neeraj Chopra and Kishore Kumar Jena won gold and silver medals respectively.

Deepika Pallikal, Harinder Pal Singh Sandhu defeated Hong Kong’s Ka Yi Li, Chi Him Wong in the mixed doubles semi-finals to ensure at least a silver medal for India. The All India Squash mixed doubles final was postponed as Anahat Singh, Abhay Singh lost to Malaysia’s Aifa Binti and Mohd Syafiq in the second semi-final. The pair had to be satisfied with a bronze medal. Saurav Ghoshal performed brilliantly in the men’s singles squash semi-finals defeating Leung C.H. of Hong Kong. Defeated in straight games.

India’s golden boy Neeraj Chopra will aim to win a gold medal in the men’s javelin throw final. Kishore Kumar Jena is another Indian who will compete in the same event and will also be aiming for a podium finish.
