Arvind Kejriwal’s first order from ED custody: Can a Chief Minister run the government from jail?

Amid talk of whether Arvind Kejriwal can continue as Delhi Chief Minister and demands by the BJP for his resignation, he on Sunday issued his first order from the Enforcement Directorate’s custody.

The order pertains to water supply in the national capital and was sent to Delhi minister Atishi, who oversees the portfolio.

At a press conference, Atishi revealed that she had tears in her eyes after reading the Chief Minister’s note.

“Arvind Kejriwal ji has sent me a letter and an instruction. I had tears in my eyes as soon as I read this. I kept wondering who is this man, who is in jail, but is still thinking about the water and sewage problems of Delhiites. Atishi said, only Arvind Kejriwal can do this because he considers himself a member of the family of 2 crore people of Delhi.
