India vs Australia Live Score 3rd ODI: After two expensive spells, Jasprit Bumrah returned to form with the wickets of Alex Carey, Glenn Maxwell and Marnus Labuschagne and finished with 3/81. But some solid contributions from the top order helped Australia post a solid score of 352/7, the highest at this venue. Australia faltered a bit in the last 10 overs of the innings, but Kuldeep Yadav also took two wickets. Earlier, Mitchell Marsh along with Steve Smith established complete control by making a partnership of 137 runs (119 balls) for the second wicket.
Marsh, however, missed his century and fell short by four runs when he was dismissed by Kuldeep in the 28th over. Steve Smith managed to score his half-century, but soon Marsh also returned to the pavilion as Siraj took his wicket with an LBW decision. Marnus Labuschagne scored his third half-century and managed to hold on to one end despite the fall of wickets. In the end, Pat Cummins’s inning of 19 runs in 22 balls was enough to take Australia past 350.
David Warner contributed to Australia’s explosive start, scoring a half-century off just 32 balls and sending Australia into a boundary frenzy. However, Prasidh Krishna, despite conceding 19 runs in his first over, managed to dismiss Warner, giving India their first success in the competition. All this happened when Australia captain Cummins won the toss and decided to bat first in the third ODI at the SCA Stadium in Rajkot. Both teams made five changes each in their lineup.
