Skoda, VW Sales Breakup September 2023 – Kushaq, Slavia, Taigun, Virtus
Skoda Kushaq and Volkswagen Taigun stood at number 6 and 7 in the list of best-selling compact SUVs in September 2023.
Sub-4 meter and compact SUVs are gaining importance among buyers in India. They are being popularized due to their higher ground clearance, better cabin space and more premium stance. In this regard, compact SUVs topped the sales lists of both Skoda and VW in September 2023.

Skoda sales increased to 4,032 units in September 2023 on a year-on-year basis. This was an increase of 14 percent compared to 3,543 units sold in September 2022. MoM sales declined 6 percent from 4,307 units sold in August 2023.
The Skoda Kushaq was the best-selling Skoda car in India in September 2023, with 2,260 units sold in that month. This was a year-on-year increase of 2 percent compared to 2,224 units sold in September 2022. However MoM sales declined by 6 percent to 2,409 units sold in August 2023.
Demand for the Slavia also increased, with sales rising 69 percent to 1,581 units in September 2023 from 937 units sold in September 2022. Earlier this month the company announced the launch of the Slavia Matte Edition at attractive festive pricing, Carbon Steel Grey. Shade and feature upgrades.
