On June 23, Sonakshi Sinha and her longtime partner Zaheer Iqbal got married. Just two days later on June 26, her father and veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha was admitted to the Kokilaben Ambani Hospital. The actress also visited him along with her husband and now the reasons for Sinha’s hospitalisation have come to light.
Why did Shatrughan Sinha have to be hospitalised?
The veteran star was admitted for a routine check-up after he suffered a little discomfort at his home. According to a report published in Times Now, Mr Sinha suffered a rib injury after he slipped a little in his dining room on June 25. He was getting up from his sofa comfortably when his foot hit the corner of the carpet and luckily Sonakshi was there and caught him immediately.
The report claims that if the Dabangg star was not there, ‘the impact of the fall could have been even more.’ In the report, the source revealed that this sofa spot in the entire house is Shatrughan Sinha’s favourite where he relaxes, watches TV and even gives interviews. Though he was immediately given medical aid and rested for a day, things got a little weird the next morning.
