Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev discharged from hospital, doctor said, ‘His sharp mind, sense of humor intact’

Spiritual leader and Isha Foundation founder Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev was discharged from the hospital on March 27 following emergency brain surgery.

When visiting Sadhguru in the hospital, Dr. Sangeeta Reddy, joint managing director of Apollo Hospitals Group, remarked, “Doctors have expressed satisfaction over his recovery and treatment.” Sadhguru, despite his recovery, maintains the same sentiment. “His humour, wit, and dedication to the greater good are all still present. I think this is good news for the millions of people who are inquiring about his health.”

The Foundation expressed gratitude for the love and support Sadhguru received from everyone during this period.

On March 17, the spiritual leader suffered a decline in the level of consciousness along with drowsiness and weakness in the left leg and was taken to a medical facility.
Within hours after admission, the medical team led by Drs. Vineet Suri, Pranav Kumar, Sudhir Tyagi, and S. Chatterjee conducted surgery to stop the bleeding. Following the procedure, Sadhguru was taken off of the ventilator.

PM Modi also spoke to the spiritual leader and wished him good health and speedy recovery. Sadhguru immediately responded to this on the microblogging platform, saying he was “overwhelmed” by the Prime Minister’s concern.
