PM Modi’s Russia visit is to prepare for future global uncertainty

New Delhi: Given that the Israeli war on Hamas in Gaza is showing no signs of stopping and that the Ukrainian war is expected to intensify, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s trip to Russia on July 8–9 for a bilateral summit with President Vladimir Putin is crucial to India’s strategic planning.

Moreover, Pakistan, under the guidance of India-hater Munir Akram, will join the UN Security Council as a non-permanent member for two years in January 2025, while evergreen friend China is looking for an opportunity to declare innocent Indians as global terrorists or bring in a resolution on Jammu and Kashmir like in the past. If that’s not all, India will cease to be a member of the Geneva-based International Human Rights Council next year. The last time India was not a member was in 2018, when the council submitted a report on alleged human rights violations in Jammu and Kashmir.
