PM Modi unveils railway projects worth ₹41,000 crore, calls ‘New India’
PM Modi laid the foundation stone for the renovation of 554 railway stations and construction of 1500 road over bridges/road under bridges in Indian Railways through Amrit Bharat Station Scheme through video conferencing.
Union Minister of State for Railways Raosaheb Danve on Monday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision is to make railway stations in the country at par with international standards.
Danve was in Nashik to inaugurate the renovated Deolali Camp railway station under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme.
He said that after Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister, work of modernization and beautification of 1,318 railway stations of the country was done. Under this scheme, PM Modi inaugurated a total of 508 railway stations on Monday. Deolali Camp Railway Station is one of them.
