Jitendra Kumar breaks silence on being the highest-paid star in Panchayat 3: ‘Nothing good ever happens…
Bollywood actor Jitendra Kumar has finally dismissed claims that he is the highest-paid star in Panchayat 3. The series released late last month and Jitendra aka Jeetu Bhaiya reportedly received a salary of Rs 70,000 per episode. In a new interview, Jitendra slammed the reports and said that it is inappropriate to discuss one’s salary.
He told Hindustan Times, “I think it is really inappropriate to discuss one’s salary and financial matters.” He went on, “This conversation is not productive and yields no positive results. Therefore, I believe that there should be no such thing and that no one should listen to any such rumors.”
According to a report published in ABP Live last month, Jitendra Kumar received Rs 70,000 for each episode in which he played Abhishek Tripathi. The third season of the show has eight episodes, so Jitendra should make roughly Rs 5,60,000 this time around. Neena Gupta reportedly ranked second on the list. She was paid Rs 50,000 per episode for playing the role of Manju Devi in the new season. This means she was paid Rs 4,00,000 for the season.
