Nearly 1,600 people have been killed in Hamas attacks and brutal counter-attacks on Israel.
Former adult film actress Mia Khalifa has sparked controversy with her comments on Twitter regarding the ongoing Israel–Gaza war.
People did not like Khalifa’s post on social media. So much so that he was lured out of a business deal with Canadian broadcaster and radio host Todd Shapiro.
Shapiro, who was in the process of finalizing a deal with Mia Khalifa, announced the immediate termination of their arrangement.
“Mia Khalifa, this is a terrible tweet. You are hereby terminated with immediate effect. utterly repulsive. beyond repulsive. Please develop and improve yourself. It is extremely horrible that you are choosing to ignore the murders, rapes, assaults, and hostage takings. Your ignorance cannot be expressed in words. In particular when tragedy strikes, it is important for us as humans to band together. I ask God to help you grow as a person. But it appears that it is now too late for you,” Mr. Shapiro commented on X.
Responding to the news, Ms Khalifa said, “I would say that supporting Palestine has ruined business opportunities for me, but I am more angry at myself for not checking that I was doing business with Zionists. Was she entering or not? My bad.”
She clarified her controversial and seemingly “horrible tweet” in a post, writing, “I just want to clarify that this statement is in no way inciting violence, I specifically said freedom.” Said about the fighters because that’s what Palestinians are.” “Citizens are fighting for freedom every day.”
Nearly 1,600 people have been killed in Hamas attacks and brutal counter-attacks on Israel.
Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israeli prime minister, has given a stern warning to Hamas. “Israel is at war,” he declared. This war was not what we wanted. It was imposed on us in the most heinous manner imaginable. Israel will put a stop to the conflict, despite the fact that it did not start it.
