Chandrayaan- 3 has successfully completed its charge, but it’ll remain on the Moon permanently.
The spacecraft now faces new challenges in its dormant state, particularly from the lunar terrain. A major challenge is the constant shower of micrometeoroids that bombard the lunar face.
Micrometeoroids are bitsy patches of dust and gemstone that travel through space at high speed. They can be as small as grains of beach, but they can still beget significant damage to spacecraft.
Indeed a small shock can damage sensitive factors or perforation the spacecraft’s housing, causing it to blunder air and come uninhabitable.
Center declares National Space Day on Chandrayaan- 3 success The Government of India has declared August 23 every time as National Space Day to celebrate the success of Chandrayaan- 3 charge with the wharf of Vikram lander and deployment of Pragyan rover on the lunar face on August 23, 2023.
Chandrayaan- 3 charge is India’s third charge to the Moon and the first attempt to land on the Moon’s south pole. numerous scientific trials are anticipated to be conducted in this charge to study the face, structure and atmosphere of the Moon.
