BTS dominates June brand rankings days after Jin’s comeback; Lim Young Woong and Seventeen follow

BTS is back on top. The K-pop boy band reclaimed its top spot after sliding down the rankings while members continue to serve in the military instead of active music creation or brand endorsements and other activities. However, in June, the oldest member, Jin, made his grand comeback, causing the dynamite singers’ brand rankings to skyrocket. Earlier in May, trot singer Lim Young Woong took the top spot, followed by girl groups IVE and aespa, while BTS ranked seventh.

Recently, the Korea Brand Reputation Research Institute released its monthly analysis, which measures the online activity of fans, media attention, and community conversations about singers who are currently in the spotlight. The K-pop phenomenon BTS only managed to reclaim its number one spot after Jin returned to action, despite the fact that many of its members are serving in the military.
