

PM Narendra Modi takes holy dip in Sangam at Mahakumbh in Prayagraj
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday visited the Mahakumbh fair in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, where he took a holy dip in the Triveni Sangam.
Wearing a rudraksha mala and chanting mantras, the Prime Minister stood in the river and performed puja. “Today I had the privilege of performing puja after taking a dip in the holy Sangam at Prayagraj Mahakumbh. The blessings of Maa Ganga gave me immense peace and satisfaction. I prayed to her for the happiness, prosperity, health and well-being of all countrymen. Har Har Gange!” PM Modi posted on X.
Earlier, PM Modi took a boat ride with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to reach the Triveni Sangam – the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna and the mythical Saraswati. The Mahakumbh began on Paush Purnima (January 13) and is the world’s largest spiritual and cultural gathering, drawing devotees from across the globe. It will continue till Mahashivratri on February 26.
