“The Ministry of External Affairs announced on Sunday, January 12, 2025, that External Affairs Minister (EAM) Dr. S. Jaishankar will represent the Government of India at the swearing-in of President-elect Donald J. Trump as the 47th President of the United States of America at the Trump-Vance Inaugural Committee engagement.. Mr Jaishankar visited the US last month( December 24- 29) when he met officers of the Biden administration and also met Congressman Michael Waltz, who has been chosen by President Trump as his coming National Security Advisor( NSA).
