Another masterstroke by Anil Ambani, big challenge for Ratan Tata, Gautam Adani, as their company…
Anil Ambani’s company’s new scheme in the power sector can give tough competition to other players in the sector like Gautam Adani-led Adani Power or Ratan Tata-led Tata Power.
Anil Ambani’s BSES has launched a new initiative by providing temporary power connections within 24 hours. The service aims to reduce the use of generators during festivals, fairs and weddings, help reduce pollution and prevent power theft. Consumers can apply for connections through customer service centres, WhatsApp or digital service centres.
BSES has launched ‘Tatkal’ scheme to provide temporary power connections on the same day in Delhi ahead of the festive season to boost festivities and reduce pollution, it said on Thursday.
This new scheme can pose a challenge to Ratan Tata-led Tata Power and Gautam Adani-led Adani Power and other electric companies. Adani Power is an Indian multinational power and energy company, a subsidiary of the Adani Group. It operates in various states like Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan. Tata Power-DDL on Thursday said it has also launched an ‘Tatkal’ scheme to provide temporary power connections on the same day ahead of the festive season.
