No yogi or saint can ever be a slave to authority: Adityanath Yogi

The Chief Minister, while highlighting the legacy of Baba Keenaram, said that his stories are full of miracles. “No saint or yogi can ever be a slave of power. Instead, they inspire the society to follow in their footsteps. This is what Baba Keenaram achieved through divine sadhna after his birth 425 years ago,” Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said during the 425th Avtaran Samaroh at Baba Keenaram Math, the site of Baba Keenaram’s birth on Sunday in Ramgarh, Chandauli.

He explained how Baba Keenaram did many works for the welfare of the society and rebuked and banished the then ruler Shah Jahan.

“The result of Baba Keenaram’s divine sadhna is evident today. The Kriin Kund established in Kashi is a proof of unifying all the sadhna practices of India,” Yogi Adityanath said.

The Chief Minister further stressed that India became a slave because foreign invaders succeeded in dividing the society. He said that saints connect the entire society and inspire them to follow their path. The achievements and sadhana of saints and sanyasis always lie in national interest, social interest and human welfare. Paying homage to Baba Keenaram, the CM said that my program was in Sonbhadra, but by his grace I got the privilege of coming here. Baba Keenaram was a divine personality from birth, born in a prosperous family. He attained siddhis through sadhana, but Baba used his spiritual achievements for the welfare of the nation and the people. On one hand, He attempted to build bridges between Dalits, tribal people, and other societal groups. He reawakened the spirit of a society devoid of discrimination, which could only have been accomplished by a saint, Aghoracharya, or Yogi.
