10 things that define Kamala Harris’ economic agenda ahead of November elections

US Vice President and Democratic presidential candidate for the 2024 US elections Kamala Harris shared more details about her economic agenda while addressing a rally in North Carolina on Friday. As the crowd chanted “a new way forward,” Harris emphasized that her policies are focused on the future.

The vice president chose Raleigh, North Carolina to share her economic policy agenda as the state is known as a key battleground state where both she and former President Donald Trump will work to win in November.

“I firmly believe this election is about two very different visions for our nation,” Harris told the cheering crowd. “One is ours, which is focused on the future. The other is focused on the past. We see that difference very clearly in many ways, including in our thinking about the economy,” she said. It is worth noting that this is the first time Harris has shared her economic policy agenda after securing the Democratic ticket.

The departure of her boss, US President Joe Biden, clears the way for her to lead the party into the 2024 elections.”As president, I will concentrate on generating opportunities for the middle class that will support their stability, dignity, and economic security,” the speaker declared. We will build what I refer to as the opportunity economy together.”
